We have been exploring how different factors affect our precision when we manipulate objects. Although strange to hear at first, these words are beginning to be understood as we try to figure out the best way to throw a ball into a basket, catch a ball in our arms, move a ball with a hockey stick, throw a frisbee at a target, and bowl a ball to knock down a pin. We are making connections between these different movements to see what is similar and different between them. Our bowling throw is being used in an invasion game where we both attack and defend targets. This game will be revisited later in the year when we learn about different kinds of games and how they work.
