Spanish Government Fluency Test Results

Congratulations to all eight members of the Spanish Track class of 2008 - they all passed the Spanish Government test of Spanish as a foreign language (DELE, for its Spanish initials)! This test was administered by the Spanish government's Cervantes Institute.

Last spring was the first time that International School students took the DELE test. They took the initial level which, according to the Cervantes Institute web site, 'certifies linguistic competency sufficient to understand and respond to situations in every day life and to communicate wants and needs.

Exact test scores will be mailed to the student families this week.
