It took some time to collect all the TIS Summer Reading Challenge forms, but the results are finally in! Fifty students completed the challenge and most read more than the suggested 10 books. Yay! All 50 students received a certificate, a treat and a prize for their efforts. Four students deserve special recognition for exceptional reading achievement:
Aili read 148 books and received gifts cards to Borders and Jamba Juice! Brian, Alexander and Zane each selected a non-fiction book to keep.
Great fun everyone!
The TIS Library can earn store credit from Powell's Books for wanted children's books by selling them your used and unwanted adult fiction and non-fiction. Drop off unwanted titles in good to new condition at any reception desk or in the library.
Please save any children's books you find for the Emanuel Children’s Book Drive in the spring! Check In the Know for more information in early spring.
