Volunteer Opportunities - get your hours in . . .

TIS Parents….listed below are this week's volunteer needs for the school. Volunteering is an ideal way to help the school, build community, and support staff or committee chairpersons that have taken on the responsibility of making these events happen. Just contact the committee chair or staff person directly and let them know you will be happy to help!

Saturday April 25, 10am-5:30pm, Uwajimaya Sakura Festival: TIS will be sponsoring a booth to share information about our school. This is an important event because it shows our support of Uwajimaya and of the Yuuyake Shimbun newspaper, both of which are very generous to us. Please contact Keiko at japanese@intlschool.org.

May 4, 5 & 6 during school hours, drive students to the YMCA track: Coach Robert needs volunteers to drive 1st-5th graders to the YMCA track for the President's Challenge mile run. The run will happen during PE classes - drive for one class or for many and help cheer on the kids! Contact Coach Rob at RobertB@intlschool.org.

Saturday May 16 & Sunday May 17, Wine Tasting: 2-3 servers/food helpers, 2-3 people for checkout, 2 greeters, 3+ people for setup on Saturday and same for cleanup on Sunday. Contact event Chair Cheryl Meloy, wine@intlschool.org.

Friday May 29, 5:30-9pm, Talent Show: Music Teacher Carol Olson needs volunteers to help with the Talent show. Contact Carol at CarolO@intlschool.org.

On behalf of PTO and the entire TIS community, thank you in advance for volunteering your time. It really does make a difference.
