Safe City Cycling for Families

The Safe Routes to School program is organizing a workshop called Safe City Cycling for Families. We have tailored a curriculum for schools in the dense urban core, including TIS, Emerson and MLC. This workshop includes:

  • Instruction on safe city cycling with children

  • Assistance identifying safe routes from home to school (or other destinations)

  • Tips on winter comfort

  • Recommendations for Bike Train leaders

If you want to join a bike ride at the end of the workshop, bring your bike and helmet and get ready for some family fun!

Nov 16, 4:00-5:30 PM, Flying Rhino Building, 1440 NW Overton Street, 97209

While the workshop is for adults only, free childcare will be provided on-site upon request.
