Shoe drive for Haitians

Friends and family of Molly Hightower, the Washington state young woman who died in the Haiti quake, are continuing Molly's work to donate hundreds of shoes to orphans and disabled adults in Haiti. Since Molly began the drive in November, over 400 pairs have come in. TIS parent Nancy Merchant, who has volunteered in Haiti with the same agency that Molly Hightower was with, has volunteered to drive any shoes donated at TIS up to the drive's headquarters in Washington state.

Donate shoes by February 14 by bringing them to the reception area at Stearns Hall.
