Upcoming PTO Elections: consider it!

One of the best things I've done as a TIS parent is get involved in the PTO! For the last three years I've met so many wonderful families, enjoyed watching our kids learn in the classroom and and I've actively participated in the growth and direction of our amazing school. I feel lucky to have had this opportunity. I know the school in a way that wouldn't have been possible without my involvement and I have that much more confidence in our administration, teachers, board of trustees and the mission of the school.

If you would like to feel the same connection, I encourage you to participate in the PTO. There are several different positions, all with different levels of commitment. If you would like to know more about what's involved, please stop any of us on campus (Kathy Guilfoyle, Kirsten Lee, Bob Bondaruk, Sara Shah, Sharyn Marcuson, Kate Tolman and Tatiana Raimondo), give us a call or email pto@intlschool.org. You can also stop by Stearns Hall on Thursdays mornings at drop-off where one of the PTO officers will be available to answer questions.

We also have several opportunities for committee chairs, including Pizza Monday Captain (where else can you get a title like that?

Officer elections will be held at the May 11th PTO meeting. Join in the fun, you'll be glad you did!
