Featured wineries: Cameron Winery and Cubanisimo

Cameron Winery -- Making their TIS wine tasting debut Owner and winemaker John Paul wasn't actually born a winemaker, though his family crest has lions toasting on it. His son was in the Spanish track at TIS during our early years and recently graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design. Cameron will be pouring two Pinot Noirs and a Chardonnay at the TIS Wine Tasting.  For more information, go to www.cameronwines.com

Hot off the presses -- Cubanisimo Vineyards will also make its TIS wine tasting debut. Upon moving to Oregon, neurosurgeon Mauricio Collada Jr. was surprised to find out that his favorite wine grape, Pinot Noir, had the perfect climatic conditions for its development in the Willamette Valley. It was an easy decision to pursue his passion with the 1986 purchase of the 21 acre parcel in the Eola-Amity Hills within the Willamette Valley, which led to the founding of Cubanisimo Vineyards. Mauricio chose the name, which means "very Cuban", as an homage to his Cuban heritage. For more information go to www.CubanisimoVineyards.com
