RE: Parking

Hello parents,
Parking at TIS has always been a challenge and has been even more difficult at times this year due to the construction in the area. We realize it can be difficult and frustrating to find parking but please be respectful of others as you drive and park. Areas that are marked as no parking zones should not be used for parking. Parking in these places can block drivers from seeing children cross the street, pose a hazard to other drivers, obstruct traffic flow slowing everyone down, and leave you at risk for a hefty parking fine from the city. Please obey traffic laws and remember to drive cautiously as you approach the campus.

Please also remember to be respectful of the parking spaces that are marked as reserved for auction winners. These families generously contribute to the TIS auction for the opportunity to use these spaces. Even if you will be parked for just a few minutes it is important to realize that these folks  would like to use the parking space that they purchased. We are looking into getting an indicator for the auction signs so the purchasers can indicate when they have already picked up / dropped off.

Thank you for your attention.
