Wine Tasting funds make happy readers!

I had the joy and privilege of working the visually spectacular wine wall at Saturday night's Wine Tasting social. Not only was it fun to see the parents of the students I see in the library every day, but gratifying to know how much support there is for building our truly unique Library Media Center.  The fact is, we are growing an outstanding collection of books in our target languages and we are developing highly literate kids who love to read and to learn.  While the auction has been instrumental in funding science, math and PYP materials, wine tasting funds are key to purchasing the items our students flock to the library to borrow--fiction and reading challenge books--as well supporting author visits and reading challenge celebrations.  The students and I thank you the organizers, volunteers, donors, parents and attendees.

And, from the event organizers

We'd like to thank all our volunteers who help put on this great event year after year, along with our wineries and food donors who we can't thank enough.  Please support these businesses when you purchase wine or dine out.
