Wine Tasting Funds Make The Fun Stuff Possible!

Did you know that all of the money raised at the wine tasting goes to the TIS Library Media Center? Wine tasting funds make the fun stuff possible - like new library books in four languages, visits from authors and poets, reading challenges and more. Click here to take a glimpse inside the library to see how your donations go to work.

Join us for our annual TIS Wine Tasting & Spring Social! Saturday, May 11th at The Plant in SE Portland. Visit intlschool.org/wine for details and tickets.

If you can't make the wine tasting, but still want to support the library, consider:

  • Sponsor a Book! We'll purchase a new book for the library and dedicate it to the TIS student or friend of your choice with a custom-made book plate. Visit intlschool.org/wine for more details
  • Donate a bottle of wine valued at $15 or more for our wine tasting Wall of Wine. You can drop the wine off at any of our reception desks.

Thank you! TIS students can't wait to get their hands on new library books!

This week we are featuring Brooks Winery

Founded in 1998, Brooks Winery is perched on top of a hill in the heart of the Willamette Valley’s Eola-Amity Hills, where it is home to a family winery founded by the late Jimi Brooks. Brooks winery is committed to organic and biodynamic farming and takes a gentle approach to winemaking. Brooks focuses on Rieslings and Pinot Noirs whose blends have caught national attention. In fact, the Brooks Ara Riesling 2006 was poured at President Obama's first state dinner hosted on the White House lawn.

The Brooks Winery prides itself on family, organic and biodynamic farming and a committed gentle approach to winemaking. Please come out and support TIS and this small-dedicated winery whose wonderful wine enjoyed by the White House is supporting this wonderful event and our library.
