Summer reading is essential for young children to retain what they have learned throughout the school year. Summer Reading packets have been distributed to all students in Grades K-4. Stick the book pocket and card somewhere easy to access and get started!
Read, be read to, or listen to an audiobook version of, at least 13 books of your choice over the summer vacation. Of course, there is no limit! Three of the books must be in your child's Target Language! Record the title of the books read and initial each one on the library card in the book pocket.
Your child should return the book pocket and card to the Librarian in September for a surprise!
Have a Wonderful Summer!
