Each year, Head of School Robert Woods determines an educational need for which to focus our Auction Special Appeal. These needs are determined based on the growth of the community, feedback from faculty, and the vision of success for our students.
Our students and teachers have spoken loud and clear - technology is an invaluable learning resource for each student in every classroom, and there simply is not enough to go around! The 2014 Auction Special Appeal targets the demand for 1:1 devices in classrooms, with a focus on Chromebooks for all 2nd and 3rd graders, as well as iPads for Kinder and 1st graders, with 10 additionally for Student Support Services.
This year's Special Appeal also has allowances for professional development and device security & storage, which helps to keep the educational technology program at TIS sustainable for our students in the years to come.

Thank you for supporting our students and teachers in our progress towards 1:1 technology in classrooms!
