Parent Network - We Need Your Help!

The TIS Parent Network is officially relaunching! We need YOUR help to make it a success! There are still ways to become involved even if you were unable to attend the informational meetings. Time commitments vary - there is truly a way for everyone to take part!

The Parent Network will be a much better way to identify and organize volunteer support at TIS. Just as importantly, it will serve to strengthen relationships, communication, and collaboration between parents, faculty, and administrators.  It will be integral to furthering the school’s mission to provide an excellent education for its future global citizens.

What is the Parent Network? Here are some basic facts:

•           The Parent Network will provide volunteer support for the advancement of the larger TIS mission. All current volunteer positions will be folded into the Parent Network.

•           It will be led by Steering Committee, comprised mostly of parents

•           Works in close collaboration with the school administration and staff

•           Aligned with values, vision, and policies of TIS

•           Membership is free and open to all parents and guardians of currently enrolled students

•           It’s a wonderful way to get to know other TIS families, build community, and help to strengthen our school.

The relaunch for the Parent Network is truly an exciting moment for the school.  We need a broad representation of parents to make it a success.  Click here for a list of job descriptions and team roles. If you are interested in one or more of the positions, or would like to learn more, please contact parentnetwork@intlschool.org

The final Parent Network meeting of the school year is Thursday, April 30  at 8:15am in the Arthur Administration Building. We will be appointing our leaders for the 2015-16 school year and discussing next steps. We hope to see you there!
