You might have noticed the little cob house, or gazebo, on top of the Main Campus hill by Sherman St. Sadly, it has been deemed structurally unsound, and must be dismantled. This will happen within the next few weeks.
The cob house was built ten years ago by a team of parents and students and lead by our longtime gardening volunteer, Priscilla Lane. The cob house has served as a wonderful outdoor classroom, a place of reflection, and a favorite summer lunching spot. It will be missed.
An article that provides more information about the TIS cob house will be available in the upcoming edition of TIS News.
