Project Update: Hill Replaning

IMG_0328.JPG

The final phase of our current construction project will be to replane the hill between Learners' Hall and Sherman Street on the Main Campus. This is being done in anticipation of the finalization of our Campus Master Plan and of future campus projects. For the next few years, however, it will be re-seeded to create an additional outdoor recreation space!

The garden has been relocated to the northwest corner of the upper playground. Thank you very much to Priscilla and the Garden Team for moving the plants, and to TIS parent Angel Trujillo for painting a lovely mural in the entryway! The remaining fruit trees will be relocated or replaced elsewhere on the campus.

The timing of the replaning project is still being determined, as we are awaiting finalization of permits and plans. This activity will be scheduled so that it does not interfere with normal school operations. We will update you on the timeline once it is finalized.
