Chinese Visiting Students on Campus!  Our Capstone exchange students from China are here this week! Students from the Suzhou Experimental Elementary School, our host school in Beijing, are staying with our Chinese track 5th grade students and families. These students are the same ones that our fifth graders will stay with in March.

Schoolwide Open House for Prospective Families. Do you know anyone who is interested in The International School? Please send them to our Open House! We will have short presentations about our programs, followed by tours. Both Campuses, 6-8pm.

WEDNESDAY, JAN 25th

The International School Equity, Diversion, & Inclusion Series: Race & Ethnicity

This module educates participants on systemic biasmicroaggression theory as developed by Derald Wing Sue of Columbia University, and concrete examples of microaggressions against people of color.  Each module, hosted by Barbara Diamond and her team, includes film, large and small group discussion, hands-on activities, and brief presentations.

This event is free and open to the public.  Please RSVP If you plan to attend this important event! Learners' Hall, 6:30-8pm

THURSDAY, JAN 26th

Principal's Coffee. Please join K-5 Principal Bodo Heiliger for the first Principal Coffee of 2017. This will give members of the community an opportunity to come and hear about developments in the school, as well as provide an open forum to ask questions or voice concerns. Open to parents of students in grades K-5. 8:15-9:15am, Learners' Hall.
