Traditions & Celebrations
Our school year is punctuated by cherished traditions that unite our community and celebrate our international ethos. Events such as the International Festival, Costume Parade, and Handshaking Ceremonies provide opportunities for students, families, and staff to engage in meaningful cultural exchanges. These gatherings not only strengthen our bonds but also deepen our understanding of the world around us.
For our fifth-grade students, the journey culminates in two significant milestones: the Exhibition and the Capstone Study Abroad program. The Exhibition allows students to showcase their learning and personal growth, reflecting on their experiences at ISP. The Capstone Study Abroad program offers an immersive experience in countries such as China, Japan, or Mexico, enabling students to apply their language skills and cultural knowledge in real-world settings. These experiences are pivotal in shaping our students into compassionate, globally-minded individuals.
Recent Native American and Alaskan Heritage History Month, Diwali Celebrations, and Black History Month.
