Why Give to ISP?

Contributions of all sizes and of all kinds support the people and programs that make ISP unique and special. Thanks to generous support throughout the school's history, International School of Portland is now a thriving center of excellence in inquiry-based, immersion education. From major facilities improvements to growing tuition assistance support to the expert teachers and small class sizes students experience on a daily basis, all of these are possible because of contributions to ISP.

Like almost all independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of all the opportunities students receive each year. Contributions provide ISP with flexible resources to go above and beyond the basics of tuition.

Monetary gifts to ISP fund new programmatic initiatives, support critical campus improvements, provide our teachers and students with exciting educational opportunities, invest in new equipment and learning tools, and support tuition assistance of about $1,000,000 each year for enrolled families. As a non-profit organization, International School of Portland invests every dollar into making ISP a diverse, inclusive, amazing educational institution.

Every enrolled family (and alumni) is asked to consider a personally-meaningful philanthropic gift in support of students and teachers. We strive for 100% participation in both giving and getting involved each school year. Gifts of all shapes and sizes make a difference! 

Contributions to the ISP are tax-deductible to the full extent as allowed by law.  International School of Portland (dba International School of Portland) is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.

Outside our annual fundraising campaigns, you always have an opportunity to propel students and the school to new heights by supporting visionary projects like major campus enhancements, scholarship endowment funds and special projects. We welcome you to contact us about becoming involved in any of these opportunities. Please feel free to contact our Development team with any questions about how you can give to ISP including alternative forms of giving, including gifts of stock or in-kind gifts.
