Parents, grandparents, graduates and friends of ISP are all invited to volunteer!

PARENT/FAMILY VOLUNTEERS

ISP family volunteers enrich the ISP experience for children, families and staff in so many ways. They contribute as field trip chaperones, guest speakers, organizers, and cheer leaders, and support school values at home and throughout their children’s lives.

ALUMNI & NON-PARENT VOLUNTEERS

HOW TO VOLUNTEER

There are many wonderful, diverse ways to help the school. You can express interest in helping a variety of ways via our online volunteer application form. Opportunities will also be listed in the weekly The Owl newsletter.

  1. Sign up to volunteer: We want YOU to volunteer at school! We encourage all families to indicate your interests through our application form.
  2. Complete a background check form (every THREE years):
    1. All field trip chaperones and on campus volunteers must clear a background check.  We have contracted with ChoiceScreening for comprehensive background checks. Please enter your basic information on our File Upload form.  ChoiceScreening will then email parents directly with a link to fill out an online consent form. 
    2. If you are driving on a field trip, you will also need to submit a photo of your Drivers’ license and insurance card information via our File Upload form. IMPORTANT: You can take a CLEAR photo of each document and upload. 
  3. If you currently have an Oregon Office of Child Care (OCC) (formerly CCD) background check on file you may use this to meet requirements until it expires. To avoid gaps, please apply for your new ISP background check no later than one month prior to your background check expiration date.
