It's a world of fun at International School of Portland's language immersion summer camp!

Mandarin, Spanish, or Japanese language and culture will come to life through hands-on projects, stories, songs, games and outdoor fun with our teachers from around the world!

Campers are placed into groups based on their grade and language exposure, so there’s room for all levels of experience. Whether they’re learning a new language or already fluent, campers will love spending time together each Summer immersed in the very heart of Portland, Oregon!

We are using Campsite* for camp registration in 2025.

Please check that your camper’s grade is correct.
New to Campsite? You can fill out the required camper forms any time prior to registration for a smoother enrollment.

*Registration is based on grade. If your Campsite account has the incorrect grade listed for your child, please email us to have this corrected before registering. For example, if your child is currently enrolled in 1st grade for this school year they would be in 2nd grade for Summer Camp grouping.

Summer Camp Staff

We’re so proud of our summer camp staff!  All of our teachers and staff members are dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and welcoming camp environment for your child.

Our camp teachers come from all over the world and many have native-level fluency or experience in the languages they teach.  Many are also teachers at the International School of Portland during the school year or have taught with our camp programs in the past.  They have a wealth of experience working with young language learners.

Our summer administrative team is here to answer questions and facilitate a smooth camp experience.  Let us know how we can help!

We are all trained in CPR and first aid.  International School of Portland also has a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator on campus during camp hours to help ensure the health and safety of our campers.
